I have two little books in my book shelf that are divine and inspiring. Paris: Made by Hand and Amsterdam: Made by Hand. There is now a chance for a third one to join them. Pia Jane Bijkerk is self publishing her third book, but in order to do so, she needs you to pledge your help!
Your pledge includes a copy of the book but there are also a few little extras too depending on how much you can help.
Her work is beautiful and no doubt you have seen it published in magazines without knowing who she is. For more information, you can visit her website or www.pozible.com/project/14397

Donna Karen : Space & Style
Images courtesy of trendland.com via Elle Decor Spain.
I stumbled upon a dream space today. For a second there I started to wish it was my life. Then I remembered that that is futile. This is my life, and it's my reality. While I am SO inspired by design blogs, and interiors blogs and architecture blogs and can waste hours looking at them, I had to close the computer and take stock of the fact that today I am working (doing something I love) while juggling a couple of kids on school holidays!
So back to work it was. Check out more new gorgeous jewellery now in store. This pendant necklace is my absolute favourite at the moment.
Available now for pre-order (for delivery beginning of February)
And by the way, this gorgeous space belongs to Donna Karen - isn't it beautiful!

#projectlife365 Join us on Instagram #paperwindmill
Every January for the past 3 years, I have taken a photo of our 'Everyday Moments'. Some years it has lasted longer than the month, and other years, I've struggled to actually take just one photo a day. Either way, as the years have gone by, these are some of my most favourite photos of my kids. Just ordinary and boring and everyday.
This year as I try to juggle a few more balls, I can't escape the fact that I need to take more photos... I have gotten out of the habit of capturing those simple (boring) moments that make up our family life.
So this year, I am (attempting) to take part in Project Life 365. I've lost a few days already, but that's OK. I've decided to play along when I can.

New Jewellery in Summer Colours
These new Rope Bangle from Ivy&Bea are a stunning addition to this seasons arm candy. Bright woven colours with a sterling silver adjustable clasp so they will fit most wrists. Each bracelet features a small charm and semi precious stone drop bead.
Add them to your Christmas Wish List!
And the background... well that just happens to be my favourite pair of silk pants by Tluxe - I can't tell you are gorgeous they are! And as I discovered this morning, all the colours of our new Rope Bangles go with them perfectly!

Leather Care
We're a little bit excited about some new dust bags for our Paper Windmill leather goods. Your next bag or wallet will now come in a cotton bag that you can use to store your leather bag in when you're not using it. Keeping the dust off your leather goods (shoes included) will prolong the life of the leather.
All our products are made from the highest quality materials. Please take care of your product by following these few basic guidelines.
Clean your leather handbags frequently and with a proper leather cleaner. Use a soft cloth or microfibre cloth to clean off dirt every couple of weeks. Moisturising the leather with a proper leather cleaner will prolong the life of your bag.
When storing your bag, make sure you stuff it (using tissue paper, bubble wrap or similar). This prevents creasing in the leather and allows the bag to hold it’s shape. Store you leather bag in a dust bag to prevent scratching and dust.
If your leather bag gets very wet, make sure you dry it out throughly and clean and moisturise it before packing it away.
Avoid harsh chemicals because they are subject to damaging the product.
More often than not, we don't have that 10 minutes to clean a bag before we shove it in the cupboard, but it's a good habit to get into and whilst you're spring cleaning your wardrobe, maybe ive your leather goods a little TLC as well.
We *heart* books
Books are a huge part of our life. You will find piles everywhere and shelves filled to the brim in this house! My husband can't understand my need to buy more and more and more!! But luckily, my love of books has been passed on to my children who love to read.
Cook books are also piled high, but as I admit to everyone, I am no cook. I do love to sit and flick through them though, and that's what this pile is for. Today I am looking to shake up the meals I'm dishing up week & in week out. It's just all getting a little boring at our dinner table at the moment.
These are a few of my favourites right now;
Notes from my Kitchen Table by Gwyneth Paltrow. I also love reading the recipes (as well as other bits and pieces) on her website Goop. Healthy and delicious, they are worth having a look at.
FOOD by Mary McCartney. Of course, the photographs in this are beautiful and 90% of the reason I bought it! Luckily it also has some really yummy vegetarian meals in it.
Recipes and stories from a hungry cook by Marion Grasby. It's time I stretched my asian cooking skills a little, and I find the recipes in the book are 'doable'.
The Urban Cook by Mark Jensen. This one requires a little reading, but if you're interested in sustainable food, this is really good.
So I'm going to enjoy a little time in the sun today reading and dreaming. Happy Saturday!
